Job Description
We are currently looking Senior Network Admin for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required.
Experience:
Minimum 5 to 15 years.
Networking Certifications:
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
Certifications like Comp TIA Network+ and Comp TIA Security+ can also be valuable for foundational knowledge.
Security Certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly regarded.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and architectures is essential.
Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices and firewalls.
Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and VPN technologies.
Knowledge of network security best practices, including threat detection and mitigation.
Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership and team collaboration skills, as senior roles often involve mentoring junior staff and leading projects.
Industry Knowledge:
Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in network security and technology, as the field is continually evolving.
Cybersecurity Ethics:
An understanding of ethical hacking and an appreciation for the ethical and legal considerations of cybersecurity.
