Senior Sales Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-8years of experience in sales engineering within the electrical industry, with a deep understanding of low voltage electrical panels, UPS systems, and explosion-proof equipment. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical and sales skills, capable of driving business growth and managing key client relationships effectively
Job Specific Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in sales engineering or a similar role within the electrical industry.
Demonstrated expertise in low voltage electrical panels, UPS systems, and explosion-proof equipment.
Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand complex electrical systems and applications.
Proven track record of successful sales performance and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage key accounts effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
o Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the low voltage electrical
panels, UPS, and explosion-proof equipment sectors.
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and
qualification of potential clients.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer
satisfaction and loyalty.
2. Technical Expertise:
o Provide in-depth technical knowledge and expertise to clients, addressing their needs and
recommending optimal solutions.
o Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations to showcase
the benefits and features of our products.
o Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities to
provide valuable insights and stay ahead in the market.
3. Proposal and Quotation Management:
o Collaborate with the proposal team to develop accurate and competitive quotations for
clients, ensuring alignment with their requirements.
o Review and analyze client specifications, drawings, and project scopes to provide tailored
solutions and detailed proposals.
o Negotiate contract terms and conditions, and close sales deals effectively.
4. Client Relationship Management:
o Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, managing relationships and
addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
o Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely resolution of technical and operational
issues.
5. Market and Business Development: o Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion. o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
6. Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of projects and customer satisfaction. o Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales engineers and other team members.
Skills & Competencies
Experience in managing large-scale projects and contracts.
Familiarity with international standards and regulations related to electrical equipment.
