Switchgear Design Engineer

Designation:- Switchgear Design Engineer
Location:- Doha, Qatar
Duration : 18 months
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Switchgear Design Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical switchgear products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of product performance and reliability.
  • Switchgear Design & Development:
Design low, medium, and high-voltage switchgear systems and components (e.g., circuit breakers, isolators, busbars, control systems) for electrical power distribution systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Design Analysis & Validation:
Perform electrical, thermal, and mechanical analysis of switchgear components to validate designs under different operating conditions, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and customer specifications.
  • Selection of Materials:
Identify and select appropriate materials and components based on performance requirements, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Technical Drawings & Documentation:
Create and review detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and schematics using CAD software (e.g., Auto CAD, Solid Works, or similar). Ensure proper documentation for design specifications, assembly instructions, and testing procedures.
