JOB DESCRIPTION

The Storekeeper shall be responsible in:

• Ensures that adequate safety precautions are taken before performing any job.

• Maintain Stock inventory in line with the systems and procedures of the company.

• Maintain Store records, issue stock items and maintain stock re-order levels.

• Prepare GRN - Issue IN /Issue Out as per requisitions.

• Process purchase requisition as and when required.

• Follow all safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions to the HSE Manager immediately.

• Make sure that all expendables, materials and supplies are not wasted.

• Prepare stock inventory report quarterly.

• Assist the Store Keeper/Material Coordinator in assuring that expendables, materials and supplies are not wasted.

• Prepare stock inventory report quarterly.

• Supervise the use of all expenditures, materials and supplies to insure that waste does not occur, and these materials and supplies are kept in a secure place and locked.

• Maintain a good and healthy relations among all superiors, colleagues, and subordinates.
