CEE Assurance Human Capital Manager

The opportunity:
As the CEE Assurance practice evolves, there is an increasing need to collaborate more closely across the region on a number of people related initiatives and activities.
With this in mind the CEE Assurance practice is seeking an HC Manager / Senior Manager to work closely with the CEE Assurance People Partner and wider CEE Assurance Leadership.
The role can be constructed as either a permanent position, or as a secondment (two years) for someone seeking a cycle of experience.
Reporting line:

Reporting to the CEE Assurance People Partner (Francesca Postolache).

Other key stakeholders: Fero Zummer and Taras Skyba (CSRD Hub), CEE Assurance Lo S Leader and the RAMG (Regional Assurance Management Group).

Important collaboration contacts: Tamara Macasovic (CEE People Partner), Meyrick Stevens (CEE HC Director), Piotr Poswiata (Regional HC team Director) and Territory HC Leaders.
What you will be doing:
The role will cover two key areas of focus: i) CEE Assurance people priorities; ii) CEE Assurance Trust Hub development.
CEE Assurance people priorities:
Working with the CEE Assurance People Partner on those priorities agreed with the CEE Assurance Lo S Leader and the RAMG. These include:

Culture of Quality: Actions required to further develop the Assurance ‘culture of quality’, including embedding the PLUS behavioural framework.

Utilisation: Establishing a consistent approach to time recording and utilisation calculations across the region, and steps to ensure that this is fully adhered to.

Feedback: Steps to better embed timely feedback in the everyday activities of our engagement teams across Assurance.

Wot F: Further supporting the full-scale introduction of the ‘Developing Senior Associate’ grade, and all the associated activities & processes, across CEE.
CEE Assurance Trust Hub development:
Pw C CEE, in collaboration with other Pw C Network firms within EMEA, has set up and is further scaling a new Hub to provide a range of services in relation to Financial Audit and CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) to clients across EMEA. The Hub will be centrally managed, but with multiple physical locations, with these locations expected to be in Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia. The business will be ring-fenced and will operate separately to the local Pw C firms in the aforementioned territories.
The focus of this role will be on:

Talent acquisition - Designing a plan that supports the headcount growth, covering both entry level and experienced hires.

Onboarding - Introducing a consistent onboarding process across the territories.

Learning & Development - Working closely with the CEE Assurance L&D team to ensure that the necessary technical and non-technical skills development is delivered.

Career path development - Working with both the Hub and wider Assurance Leadership to determine a comprehensive career path model, including the interconnectivity between the Hub and the wider Assurance practice.

Standardised policies, procedures and practices - Using existing practices within CEE, put in place policies, procedures and practices covering all areas of HC that will be consistent across the Hub (with any variations only expected due to any local different labour law requirements).
What we need from you:
Experience: All of the following would be advantageous
-
Professional services / Assurance practice: Experience of working within a professional services firm, with knowledge of the Audit/Assurance practice a further advantage.

Human Capital Business Partner: Experience of having worked as an HC BP role or in a role with a strong focus on people related matters.

Multi-territory: Experience of having worked across territories.
Skills:
-
Agility & flexibility: The successful candidate will work on multiple different projects, and as such will need to demonstrate the appropriate levels of agility to switch between different projects requiring different skills.

Project Management: The projects will typically be mid-long term and be multi-territory in nature, and as such strong project management skills would be required.

Global mindset: The successful candidate will need to work across different territories and with stakeholders in other CEE territories. They will also need to connect with and utilise existing policies, procedures and practices taken from elsewhere in the CEE region.

Common solutions: An important part of the role will be collaborating effectively with the local Human Capital teams, and finding solutions that work x-territory.
Location:
The successful candidate can be in any location in which Pw C is present across Central & Eastern Europe.
