Cobol-Java Developer

- Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications using COBOL and Java;
- Participate in requirements analysis and create technical specifications for new features and modules;
- Contribute to the architectural and technical design of applications;
- Collaborate with QA, technical support, and other development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables;
- Investigate and resolve technical issues in applications, both in testing and production environments;
- Actively participate in code reviews, optimizing, and refactoring existing code to improve performance and maintainability;
- Provide technical support and training for other team members.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development;
- French language - minim B2 level;
- Strong programming experience in COBOL (preferably on Mainframe platforms);
- Good programming skills in Java (API);
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., DB2, Oracle) and SQL;
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git);
- Ability to write clean, testable, and efficient code;
- Experience working with distributed teams and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban);
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and attention to detail;
- Good communication skills(FR/EN) and ability to work in a team.
