The mission of the team “Digital Channels” is to develop and maintain applications for banker and client access to digital channels of Uni Credit.

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer who will help us to implement and maintain our applications.

Our applications are serving 7 CE&EE Countries, reaching over 2 million bank customers

What you'll be doing

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Implement new requirements and functionalities in our applications
Develop services to communicate with / aggregate data from other sources using JSON REST / SOAP
Provide support for full implementation lifecycle of web apps and server-side solutions
Share your own expertise with others from your team and from other teams
Interface with other teams such as Solution Designers, Technical Analysts, Quality Engineers, Backend teams
Work with iterative releases to production using up to date development process (JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, Dev Ops or calendar-based releases)
Deliver waterfall and agile projects, based on the banks’ needs
Write and maintain unit / integration tests and technical documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation

Running projects:

Digital Branch and Digital Sales (e.g. onboarding, cash loans, pre-approved loans, mortgages, etc.)
Multi Banking leveraging on Open API opportunities
Mobile and Internet Banking for countries in CE&EE area
Other business-driven initiatives on top of the already rolled-out CE&EE Internet & Mobile Banking assets
Public Website for banks in CE&EE area
Internal Customer Care Portal

What you'll need to succeed

Requirements:

Qualifications & Competencies:

Degree or ongoing studies in Information Technology or equivalent
Good grasp of programming base concepts and algorithms
Analytical and logical thinking, problem solving oriented
English B1/B2
Teamwork/Collaborative

Optional Qualifications & Competencies:

Knowledge of Java EE or React tech stack
Knowledge of Spring based frameworks
Knowledge of service-oriented distributed applications
Experience integrating with SOAP / REST Web Services
Knowledge of DB architectures (especially Exadata/Oracle)
Dev Ops background (actual experience in setting up and maintaining applications via Dev Ops) is an advantage

Personality & Soft Skills:

Strong technical drive, troubleshooting insight & appetite to learn fast
Accountability & ownership is a must-have for driving problem solving & creating solutions
Open-minded, structured and result-oriented personality
Willing to learn new things
