Data Management Specialist I
We have an opportunity for a Data Management Specialist I to join us at Honeywell in Bucharest, Romania. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the vendor data management process, ensure the accuracy and integrity of vendor data within the company's systems in accordance with internal policies. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities

• Process day to day requests: vendor set-up, vendor update, reactivation and deactivation
• Error resolution and customer support for internal stakeholders (Procurement and Finance functions)
• Fraud prevention through bank validation process, data validation and overall maintenance of Vendor Master Data, adhering to data governance policies and ensuring high quality of data
• Investigate and resolve queries, regarding vendor maintenance matters, either by Teams or email, continuously assess data quality and propose improvement initiatives
• Play an active role in defining Vendor Master Data standards, rules, and policies liaising with relevant business and technical teams

Key skills and qualifications

• Minimum 1 years experience in Accounts Payable/Cash Disbursements/ Accounting/Procurement/Master Data areas
• Professional Degree in finance related area
• Work experience with SAP FI module must have; Service Now and Oracle are a plus
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work with little supervision, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and identify work priorities, good communication skills both written and oral
