As the Front Office Manager, you will:
  • Act as the “Service Champion” for the Front Office team and create a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
  • Display leadership in guest hospitality, exemplify excellent customer service, and create a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring that the quality, standards and expectations of our guests and met and exceeded on a daily basis.
  • Improve service by communicating and assisting associates to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with associates and ensure they do the same within the team. Observe service behaviors of employees and provide feedback to individuals and/or managers.
  • Keep the Front Office team focused on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial results.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with the team in order to ensure desired results.
  • Manage department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Provide service that exceeds expectations in terms of guest satisfaction and retention and empower team members do the same.
  • Review guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas of improvement.
  • Respond to and handle guest issues and complaints.
  • Establish challenging, realistic and obtainable goals to guide operation and performance.
  • Be actively involved in the recruitment process of the Front Office team to ensure that the new team members possess the appropriate skills to meet the business needs of the operation.
Our most successful Front Office Manager is someone who has:
  • International exposure in multiple 5* luxury hotels;
  • Strong experience as an operational manager;
  • Knowledge of the operating principles and practices of all brand/hotel-specific functions to support successful operations;
  • A gift for paying attention to the smallest details;
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing);
  • A warm, people-oriented demeanor and a positive attitude;
  • Proficiency in English; knowing a second foreign language represents an advantage;
  • Computer skills and ability to use standard software applications;
  • Strong planning and organizing skills, able to drive results and high standard in operations;
  • Strong problem-solving and effective decision making skills;
  • Ability to acquire and maintain relationships e.g., employees, guests;
  • Effective influence skills and good negotiation skills.
