General Ledger Coordinator

OVERVIEW: The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reports, records and general ledgers. Prepare journal entries for revenue, accruals, and reconciliation, perform daily tasks in BAAN accounting system and involvement in standardization and harmonization at Group Level.

Your role

• Coordinate and monitor all the activities within the country’s portfolio of tasks for all SSC functions ( Accounts payable/ Receivables/ General Ledger ).
• Reconcile Trial Balance with subledgers and prepare the monthly Balance sheet reconciliation
• Participate ,coordinate and offer consistent contribution during the month-end closing accounting process
• Prepare the cash forecast and present it during the bi monthly meeting with Treasury team
• Prepare the monthly financial reporting ( Balance Sheet and P& L)
• Involvement in the Tax related topics ( CIT/ other taxes )
• Prepare and analyze different types of reports, based on requests from HQ/ global functions ( financial ) or from local authorities ( statistical )
• Act as a bridge between SSC and local plant departments / HQ global functions ( Controlling, Tax, HR, Treasury )
• Assist and coordinate the internal and external annual audit process
• Review, update and harmonize processes and documentation across HUF entities

Your skills

• University Degree (Accounting, Finance)
• Accounting & Reporting extensive Skills(US GAAP is a plus )
• Experience in accounting (bookkeeping and fiscal legislation), at least 8 years in a similar position
• MS Office knowledge
• Team player with an open-minded attitude
• Professional written and spoken English
• Accustomed to work under closing deadlines pressure
• Self-efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks and projects
• Excellent communication, collaboration and coordination skills
