Marketing Director

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a targeted marketing strategy to generate leads and drive customer acquisition within the DACH region, with a focus on enterprise customers in the retail and BSFI sectors;
- Lead the development of account-based marketing (ABM) programs to engage key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts, driving awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth;
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to develop and execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for key verticals and target segments within the DACH region;
- Identify and prioritize target accounts and verticals based on market opportunity, customer insights, and competitive analysis;
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives, to generate leads and nurture prospects through the sales funnel;
- Leverage marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, optimizing performance and ROI;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including enterprise clients, partners, industry associations, and media outlets within the DACH region;
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape within the retail and BSFI sectors, providing insights and recommendations to inform marketing strategies and initiatives;
- Manage and optimize marketing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to maximize impact and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field;
- 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing leadership roles, with a focus on lead generation, account-based marketing, and enterprise customer acquisition;
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive lead generation, pipeline growth, and revenue within target verticals and segments;
- Deep understanding of the retail and BSFI sectors, including market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape (preferably within the DACH region);
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms to track and measure marketing performance and ROI;
- Fluency in English, German is a plus.
