Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex energy consumption and energy market data to provide actionable insights that support business decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of energy markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with large datasets

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Interpretation

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in energy and consumption market data.
• Develop and maintain complex models to forecast consumption, energy market movements and trends.
• Work closely with other business units to identify, develop, and implement complex solutions for gathering data, analyses of the data and prediction of evolution

Reporting and Visualization

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations that communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Market Research and Intelligence

• Conduct market research to gather qualitative and quantitative data on energy markets.
• Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends.
• Provide insights into market conditions, risks, and opportunities.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including trading, finance, and risk management, to support data-driven decision-making.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

Tool Development and Optimization:

• Develop and improve analytical tools and methodologies to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.
• Automate routine data collection and analysis tasks to improve efficiency.

Knowledge Required:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Strong knowledge of energy markets and related financial instruments.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Advanced level of English

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in data management analysis or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in energy sector focused data governance/analyses

• This position may require occasional travel to different office locations or to attend industry events.
