Sales Development Representative (Romania)

This is a remote sales position for local, Romanian nationals only. You must be available for calls during Romanian local timezone 5-7pm Tuesday - Thursday and Saturday 10am - 4pm. The position offers a base salary of $200, with an additional commission of $50 per sale starting from the 5th sale onward.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our remote sales team on a freelance basis. We have a wonderful diverse distributed international team, and are an Israeli-owned company.
Role Overview: As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in our growth strategy by reaching out to qualified leads to schedule and confirm trial lessons. These leads are parents interested in signing up their children for English lessons. Your primary responsibility will be to engage these leads effectively, understand their needs, and follow up with them after their trial lesson to close the sale. Payment is primarily commission based - $50 PER SALE, although we provide a small base salary for commitment of specific hours. The fixed hours are a minimum - this is an incentivized sales position and the primary salary is from incentives. We encourage and expect a dedicated and successful SDR to bring in $500 - $2000 per month, depending on lead volume, and initiative to chase leads proactively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively contact qualified leads (parents looking for English lessons for their children) through phone calls and emails to schedule and confirm calls.
- Maintain a high level of Romanian communication to effectively engage with the target audience.
- Understand and articulate the value proposition of our English language learning solutions to spark interest among potential clients.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff and scheduling of calls.
- Keep accurate records of interactions with leads in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed assigned targets for call scheduling and confirmed calls.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Romanian, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in English, as the team is English speaking.
- Local, Romanian nationals only. Flexibility in availability to align with the local timezone in Romania, ensuring timely and effective communication with leads.
- Experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role involving direct customer engagement.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and motivation.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment where compensation is linked to meeting and exceeding targets.
