Key Responsibilities:

As part of the Team, the new resource will be responsible to support at 360- database layer of several services on different technologies, participate into international projects and have a chance to influence current and future technology choices.

The ideal candidate is a graduate in Information Technology / Maths / Physics / Statistics / Engineering or has an equivalent working experience.

Required skills:

• Proven track record on supporting critical environments on any of below RDBMS technologies:
• Oracle 12c, 18c, 19c (RAC, ODG, RMAN, Exadata, perfoandamp;tuning)
• - MSSQL 2014 - 2016 (database replica, OS Cluster)
• Postgresql/EDB 9.6, 10, 11 (pg_rman, BART, database replica, OS Clustering)
• My SQL 8.0 (installation, administration, system replica, perfoandamp;tuning)
• Knowledge of at least 3 of the following languages is also required:
• SQL
• PL/SQL
• psql
• TSQL
• m SQL
• shell scripting
• perl
• powershell
• phyton
• The successful candidate needs to have a good knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Operative Systems and must be available to work on shifts (the team covers 12h shift, 5 days a week) and being oncall (approx. one week per month).
• Upper intermediate level (B2) of written and spoken English is a must.

• Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate at both business and technical levels.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Able to work independently with the minimum of supervision.
• The ability to collaborate with various levels of staff within the organisation.
• Good teammate.

• Self starter with the ability to plan and spearhead work according to timelines
• Pragmatic approach.
• Willingness to share experience / knowledge.
