Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary: As a Senior Software Engineer at Iris Networx, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality recruitment software solutions. Your primary focus will be on leveraging Microsoft Development Technologies and SQL to create robust, scalable, and efficient applications that meet our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Microsoft Development Technologies (e.g., .NET, C#, ASP.NET).
- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas to support application functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Development Technologies and SQL.
- Proficiency in .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
- Experience with front-end technologies would be beneficial
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and tools.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
