Responsibilities:
- Creating and configuring custom applications and modules on the Service Now platform using Java Script and other technologies
- Developing and optimizing workflows to automate processes for incident management, problem management, change management, and request management
- Configuring standard Service Now ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog
- Customizing forms, fields, notifications, and dashboards according to organizational needs
- Writing and maintaining scripts in Java Script to extend platform functionalities
- Using Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and other scripts to automate processes and integrate various functionalities
- Creating and managing integrations with other applications and systems using APIs, Web Services, REST/SOAP
- Ensuring efficient communication between Service Now and other ITSM platforms or IT management systems
- Managing the Service Now instance, including upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance to ensure optimal platform performance
- Optimizing platform performance and implementing solutions for scalability and efficiency
- Testing custom solutions to ensure they function correctly and meet business requirements
- Identifying and resolving errors and issues that arise during the development or use of solutions.
- Experience working with AWS, Kafka, EMR, Gitlab, SUSE, Redhat, Redshift, S3, EKS and Service-Now.
