The role is responsible for the negotiations, sourcing, contract / purchase order issuance, and end to end commodity management for the GBS Shared Purchasing Services (SPS) team.

The Strategic Buying Services Analyst is responsible for :

• Develop and manage key suppliers by utilizing sourcing and end to end commodity management practices for assigned Indirect Purchasing commodities.
• Optimize cost savings opportunities through the use of competitive bidding, online catalogs, blanket contracts, commodity planning, opportunity assessments, business intelligence requirements, rebate programs and spend analytics.
• Meet cost savings targets, implement process improvement initiatives, and deliver to Key Performance Indicators.
• Utilize Purchasing Sourcing Process, including but not limited to Bid list selection, RFQ development, supplier negotiations, supplier selection, obtaining sourcing approval, contract or purchase order issuance, and completion of filing requirements.
• Ensure that all sourcing, contracts, and Purchase Order transactions comply with Corporate Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
• Close cooperation and exchange with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate:

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Procurement, Accounting, Business, and/or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in negotiating, sourcing, and managing contracts. Preferably working with one of these categories: MRO Spare Parts, Office supplies, Facilities Management, Tooling and Indirect Material commodities, Marketing, Professional Services, Corporate Services, etc.
• Have the capability to draft contract terms and make amendments with Legal guidance
• Have excellent English skills
• Have knowledge of common Procurement related IT systems (SAP, Ariba, etc.)
• Possess soft skills to be able to engage stakeholders yet possess effective communication and relationship management traits at multi-levels, including Board and executive.
• Ability to utilize data analytics, possess logical decision-making, reporting and excel
