Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic professional to join our team as Associate Director - MEP Design Management. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for various projects within the Qiddiya development.
Your expertise will ensure that our facilities are not only functional but also adhere to the highest standards of sustainability, safety, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the MEP design process from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems into overall project designs.
• Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors during the design and construction phases to address any technical challenges or design modifications.
• Monitor the performance and efficiency of MEP systems during installation and provide any necessary adjustments or recommendations.
• Ensure that all MEP designs consider energy efficiency and sustainability best practices.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the MEP design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
• Stay updated on the latest MEP technologies, trends, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise to support decision-making processes.
• Manage budgets and timelines for MEP design-related activities, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in MEP design management within large-scale construction projects.
• Proven experience managing MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP principles, systems, and sustainable design practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with local regulations and standards governing MEP systems in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Proficient in design software and tools related to MEP engineering.
