Job Summary
Provide consultations when needed and high quality of care to all patients in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. Highly trained in modern aspects of medical practice and utilize in the best advantage of Department function at all times and take the responsibilities of leadership with high clinical & administrative skills. The Consultant Orthopedic Surgery is responsible for the care of his patients in accordance with the ethics of the medical profession and the laws and customs of the, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within his experience and training.


Requirements
Education and Licensure
Mandatory
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)degree or its equivalent from a recognized medical school
High Medical Degree such as (Saudi Board, Arab Board, American Board or Canadian, Fellowship, MRCP, MD, etc.) in a related specialty or its equivalent internationally recognized qualifications
A valid professional license to practice the specialty in the country of origin Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
Current valid certification of Basic Life Support and OBERTor ALSO,or obtaining that within 6 months of commencement of employment

Professional Experience
Mandatory
Minimum of (3) years of professional experience in the practice of the specialty after obtaining the High Medical Degree

Specialized Knowledge & Skills
Fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in Arabic would be of advantage.
Good general health, able to work extended hours under stress, isolation, and at high altitudes, mobility, near visual acuity, and no uncorrected audiological problems
Teaching; to demonstrate skills required for educational training to medical students, professions
Research; to demonstrate a proven ability and track record of engagement in research relating to the specialty
