An exciting opportunity has arisen within BAESSA based in Riyadh for the position of Financial Controller, leading teams based in KSA and the UK, reporting to the VP Finance. BAESSA is one of the largest businesses in the company with a strong order book which is planned to grow significantly over the IBP period. The role is to lead effective management of the financial performance of the business and work with the senior leadership team to deliver customer requirements and the IBP.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Financial Controller provides functional leadership to several areas within the finance function:

- The BAESSA FP&A team ensures delivery of timely, accurate and insightful reporting and planning services to the business. Provide quality, forward looking information and analysis, and support end to end process improvements.
- The BAESSA Cost Performance team partners with Functional VPs/Directors to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the overhead cost base. Influence and shape the cost base in preparation for SFA 2027 renewal.
- In addition the Financial Controller will:

- Drive financial performance through integration of BAESSA business reviews and coordination with Air Sector
- Accelerate talent development in the finance team including coaching and mentoring Saudi National colleagues
- Partner with the KPCs FP&A team to consolidate and analyse the Air KSA IBP
- Lead the relationship between BAESSA and external auditors
- Member of a UK recognised professional accountancy body with significant post qualifying experience and a strong track record in the FP&A domain
- Broad experience of finance management, planning and commercial finance in a complex international business
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish effective working relationships and to influence key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation and across multiple geographic locations
- Ability to lead, inspire and motivate senior finance managers and their teams
