Responsibilities:
- Design Support: Assist in the development of detailed landscape designs under the guidance of the Senior Landscape Architect, ensuring they align with the project’s aesthetic, functional, and environmental goals. Contribute to the selection of materials, plant species, and other landscape elements to support sustainable and visually appealing environments.
- Site Supervision: Supervise the implementation of landscape designs on-site, ensuring all work is executed according to approved plans, within budget, and on schedule. Monitor the progress of landscape-related activities and report any issues or deviations to the Senior Landscape Architect.
- Coordination with Teams: Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of landscape elements with the overall infrastructure. Support interdisciplinary coordination to maintain design integrity.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures as directed by the Senior Landscape Architect, ensuring that all landscape installations meet the project’s specifications and quality standards. Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all landscape installations adhere to local environmental regulations, safety standards, and best practices in landscape architecture. Monitor compliance and report any deviations to the Senior Landscape Architect.
- System Optimization: Regularly assess the performance and aesthetics of installed landscape elements, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement. Propose enhancements to the Senior Landscape Architect for consideration.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all landscape architecture-related activities, including design documentation, progress reports, and quality control records. Prepare reports as required by the Senior Landscape Architect.
Job requirements
Competency Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Landscape Architect in landscape or infrastructure projects, with a focus on supporting senior staff in design, site supervision, and quality control tasks.
- Hands-on experience in landscape design, installation supervision, and quality control processes.
- Strong understanding of landscape architecture principles, plant selection, irrigation systems, and their integration into complex infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of local environmental regulations, safety standards, and best practices in landscape architecture.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up) and tools used in landscape architecture projects.

Education:
For BSc Holders: Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from a recognized university, with over 7 years of relevant experience.
For MSc Holders: Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from a recognized university, with over 5 years of relevant experience.
- Language Skills: English is mandatory.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in landscape architecture, depending on educational background.
Other Skills:
- Strong communication skills (listening, verbal & written) to effectively support the Senior Landscape Architect and collaborate with other project team members.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring the highest quality and sustainability standards in landscape design and implementation.
- Systematic thinker with good organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks under the direction of the Senior Landscape Architect.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities, with a willingness to propose improvements and optimizations to landscape designs.
