• The individual is responsible for leading all local content requirements initiatives across the business unit.
• The implementation plan for the LC will be monitored and reported to the business unit to ensure meeting the minimum committed score.
• Create a localization strategy to meet the upcoming LC requirements.
• The business unit is mandated to self-report annual and quarterly contracts in accordance with LC requirements, with the process approved by a third-party auditor at the end of the contract, this activity will be carried out by this role.
• Continues dialog with supporting function, like HR, SCM, Manufacturing, etc.. to improve training activities, local sourcing including supplier development and other factors to enhance the LC score further.
• Support the evaluation of annual performance of entities and conduct the needed research to provide recommendations to reward or penalize accordingly.
• Lead the activities related to supporting the government entities in reviewing the proposals submitted by the bidders.
• Lead the activities related to updating and upgrading the data acquisition processes, addition or exception requests.
• Lead the activities related to setting minimum Local Content threshold for the different types of projects and involve different internal or external stakeholders as required.
• Driving localization projects from idea to implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Manufacturing or any related field.
• Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.
• Strong technical project management background.
• Certification in Project Management, Project Management Professional PMP or equivalent.
• Proven integrity and high personal standards of behaviour.
• Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication skills across departments and locations within Siemens Energy and the Local Content Departments of our customer in Saudi Arabia.
