The successful candidate will manage the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring optimal warehousing, transportation, and distribution processes. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics operations, inventory management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and oversee the company’s logistics strategy in Riyadh to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage all logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution of goods within the Riyadh region.
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery across Riyadh.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies operating in Riyadh.
- Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring accuracy in stock levels, tracking, and replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, health, and safety requirements related to logistics operations.
- Optimize logistics resources, including personnel, equipment, and technology within Riyadh-based operations.
- Prepare and manage budgets for Riyadh logistics operations, analyze performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper use of logistics software to track goods, inventory, and shipments.
- Develop strategies to resolve logistics challenges and continuously improve operations.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of logistics staff, including warehouse workers and transportation coordinators in Riyadh.
- Prepare reports and performance metrics to evaluate logistics performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar logistics or supply chain role, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, supply chain management, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, or TMS).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Knowledge of Saudi logistics regulations and best practices.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Experience working in multinational logistics operations in Riyadh.
- Familiarity with Saudi customs procedures and regulations.
- Experience in managing budgets and cost control for logistics operations in Saudi Arabia.
