Position Objective:
To develop and implement strategies for utilizing treated wastewater in afforestation programs as part of the Saudi Green Initiative, ensure the sustainable and safe use of water resources to support vegetation efforts.

Job Description & Responsibilities:
Develop innovative strategies for the use of treated wastewater in afforestation projects, ensuring alignment with the Saudi Green Initiative goals.
Implement wastewater recycling systems for irrigation, optimizing resource use for vegetation programs.
Ensure the safe and sustainable use of treated wastewater in vegetation programs, complying with environmental regulations and best practices.
Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of wastewater use in different afforestation contexts.
Collaborate with environmental and agricultural teams to integrate wastewater use into broader project frameworks.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wastewater management practices in afforestation projects, providing recommendations for improvements.
Educate stakeholders on the benefits and practices of using treated wastewater in environmental initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in wastewater management for environmental projects, with a minimum of 5 years preferred.
Expertise in wastewater treatment and reuse technologies, particularly for arid regions.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations regarding wastewater use and management.
Proven experience in managing wastewater systems for afforestation or agricultural applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges related to wastewater use.
Certification in Water Resource Management is preferred.
Certified Environmental Engineer is preferred.
Training in Sustainable Wastewater Management Practices is preferred.
