Qiddiya Investment Company, a visionary leader in the real estate sector, is in search of a dedicated and dynamic professional to fill the role of Senior Director - Development. This position plays a crucial part in shaping the development strategy for one of the world's largest entertainment and leisure destinations in Saudi Arabia.
As the Senior Director - Development, you will be accountable for overseeing the complete lifecycle of large-scale development projects, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of Qiddiya. You will lead a diverse team, champion innovation, and drive excellence in project execution, all while ensuring adherence to the timeline and budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall development strategy for Qiddiya’s projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team through all phases of project development, from initiation to completion.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and feasibility analyses to validate project viability and competitiveness.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including government entities, investors, contractors, and consultants, to support project success.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing proactive strategies and solutions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards across all development activities.
• Regularly report on project progress, challenges, and achievements to the executive management team.
• Champion sustainability and innovation in development practices, ensuring adherence to Qiddiya's vision and values.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven track record of at least a minimum 14-18 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of market dynamics, financial principles, and project management methodologies
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on delivering results
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
• Experience in the entertainment or leisure industry is highly desirable
• Proficient in project management software and tools
