We are looking for a Senior Loss Prevention Engineer to work in our PMS project in Khafji in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The role is accountable for the management of the project controls team deployed on various projects. Project control support is given to Project Management team who acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the program of projects.
Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• At least twelve (12) years of experience; Eight (6) years of them within the field of Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial
• Fire Protection, Fire & Gas detection experience in the design of Fire Protection system.
• Process Safety Studies, utilities and offsite facilities experience at the conceptual, FEED, or detailed design stage of medium to large size projects.
• Knowledge of process safety & Fire engineering practices, economics principles, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures.
• Extensive experience in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and/or Infrastructure industries.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities of Senior Loss Prevention Engineer during detail engineering is as follows:
Plan, coordinate, manage and monitor the development of fire protection, fire& gas, safety studies deliverables etc prepared by EPC contractor during the detail engineering.
Review of detail engineering documents related to fire water basis of design report, fire water and foam water demand calculations.
Review of detail engineering documents related to P&IDs for Fire water network, Foam water system, Fire water pumps & tanks and Fire water coverage layouts, Fire hazardous area layouts, Electrical area classification layouts, Fire risk area drawings,
Review of detail engineering documents related to Fire protection equipment data sheets & specifications, Safety equipment data sheets & Specifications and Fire hazardous equipment schedule.
Review of detail engineering documents related to Steady State Hydraulic calculations & Transient analysis for Fire water network, Foam water system and Water spray system.
Review of detail engineering documents related to Fire & Gas Philosophy, Fire & Gas detection layouts, Block diagram, Cause and Effect diagrams and 3-D Mapping studies.
Review of detail engineering documents related to Emergency escape routes, Safety sign layouts, Safety shower layouts and Safety equipment layouts (SCBA, SABA, windsocks, extinguishers).
Participate in technical bid evaluations, review vendor non-material requisitions etc.
Participating and reviewing reports for safety studies like HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, BRA, QRA etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the appropriate field.
