Job Description
What You Will Do
- Prepare technical papers regarding complex accounting issues
- Liaise with external stakeholders on key accounting assessments
- Prepare Group accounting policies and SOPs and align accounting policies across different entities
- Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and disclosures
- Communicate complicated accounting issues in a way that a non-accounting audience can easily understand
- Conduct training sessions to finance teams on accounting concepts
- Implement process improvements for accounting and financial reporting
- Lead ad-hoc projects related to technical accounting, accounting operations, consolidation and internal controls
- Degree level qualification in Accounting
- CPA/CA or other equivalent qualification
- 8-10 years of experience in Accounting / Financial Reporting roles, preferably with prior experience in a technical accounting role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS is mandatory
- Passionate about accounting concepts and their applications
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority and work independently with high attention to detail
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus, but not necessary
- Proficient in Office (Power Point, Excel, Word)
