In addition to consumer bookings, Tinggo Travel provides B2B (business-to-business) services for travel agents and partners. Our strong network allows travel agents to access bulk rates, which they can offer to their customers, enabling agents to expand their service offerings.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our finance department, focusing on multi-currency management, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate is an experienced accountant with a strong background in managing multi-currency financial operations, a keen eye for detail, and a passion and understanding for the travel industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and cost accounting.
- Manage and monitor multi-currency transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with currency exchange rates.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to guide business decisions.
- Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
- Coordinate audits, regulatory filings, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals, fostering development and growth within the department. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance financial performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Proven experience in multi-currency management, including familiarity with foreign exchange rates and international accounting standards.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
