Job description

Main Purpose of the Job:
This role will be seconded into the Client's internal team and therefore fully client facing. The primary focus of this role is the delivery of program management services to a major client providing governance and assurance across their APAC new build Data Center programme.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

Ability to programme manage multiple projects across the APAC region.
Strong stakeholder management skills, working with Client's teams and appointed professional teams in different markets.
Ensure implementation and adherence to Client's standard project controls processes and governance across the programme.
Robust coordination with Client, Vendors, and global stakeholders to deliver programme objectives.
Review standard processes, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and recommend implementation.
Lead programme level reporting based on inputs and review of project level reporting.
Coordinate Knowledge sharing and cascade best practice across programme.
Provide technical support and training to in-country project teams to ensure understanding of processes and governance and to establish expectations.
Coordinate design team inputs to support analysis of optimal building design and configuration.
Willingness to travel within the APAC region on short trips from time to time.
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Familiar with building plans submission procedures and approvals, construction sequencing and handing over process.
Relevant working experience in the built environment sector and proven management abilities.
Effective communication skills and leadership qualities
Have undertaken a PM role associated with DC or equivalent.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE

Degree in a construction industry-related field.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in the built-environment sector handling new projects with data center/mission critical project experience preferred.
Some project management and scheduling experience.
