The main objective of our department is to explore new business opportunities in urban development and solutions in Southeast Asia. You are expected to contribute to design and create new and sustainable businesses for the company. The roles include but not limited to the followings:

• To gather and analyze reports to identify market trends, new destinations and growth opportunities in asset finance, real estate and infrastructure business, including Data Centre, in Southeast Asia.

• To establish contacts with industry players, consultants, bankers, etc to exchange market information and ideas.

• Staying up to date on market intelligence.

• To understand Tokyo head quarter’s strategies and requirements.

• To build relationships with Singapore based prospective business partners and identify opportunities to amplify partnership to advance the business.

• To coordinate, support and manage interactions and communications to diverse groups of stakeholders with the objective of forming possible partnerships and commercializing projects.

• To ensure regulatory compliance (Board Meetings, Annual General Meeting, Audit and Taxation) for the existing businesses.
  

Job Requirements

• Skills to prepare effective presentation materials both in Japanese and English to communicate with counterparties.

• Significant knowledge on corporate finance and private equity fund operations and to conduct financial analysis on investment projects.

• Basic knowledge on the real estate and infrastructure development businesses.

• Basic knowledge on sustainable solutions, ESG and SDGs.

• Basic knowledge on the digital technology and economy.

• High proficiency in Japanese and English (listening, speaking and writing) to communicate effectively through phone calls, emails and/or meetings with Tokyo HQ, Mitsubishi Corporation’s group companies and/or local and/or Japanese staff.

• Skill to prepare effective presentation materials both in Japanese and English to communicate with customers and/or for internal approval.

• More than 2 years’ experience in investment or business development.
