The Opportunity
As part of the Finance & Accounts team, you will lead a high-performing team to optimize the accounts receivables function.

The Opportunity
As part of the Finance & Accounts team, you will lead a high-performing team to optimize the accounts receivables function.
Key Responsibilities
- Empower your team: Guide and motivate a team in delivering accurate and timely invoice postings, customer refunds, collections, and allocations.
- Financial stewardship: Oversee month-end and year-end closings for accounts receivables, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Risk management: Review and approve customer refunds, order cancellations, service balances, account creation, and credit evaluations to minimize risk.
- Proactive collections: Conduct quarterly debtors reviews and collaborate with operations and sales teams to maximize collections efficiency
- Accuracy and control: Ensure accuracy through monthly bank reconciliations and AR aging analysis.
- Inventory management: Participate in the annual stocktake process to maintain inventory integrity.
- Effective communication: Act as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders on accounts receivables inquiries, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Innovation and efficiency: Champion system implementation and process automation initiatives to streamline operations.
- Embrace challenges: Contribute to ad-hoc projects as assigned, demonstrating your adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Accountancy or accountancy professional qualification with at least 5 years of relevant experience with some experience in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in MS office and experience with accounting software.
- Meticulous, organized, process driven, a self-starter and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Enjoys working in a high-energy and performance driven environment.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and confidentiality.
