Inter Moor is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team in Singapore - Loyang Crescent for the role of Base Manager on a permanent basis.

As a Base Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and ensuring the efficient operation of the yard. This includes maintaining departmental and rental equipment in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance System (PMS). You will spearhead sales initiatives for both equipment rental and sales, as well as operational services, driving revenue growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for cost-effective planning and execution of all operational works and routine yard operations. A key part of your role will be ensuring that safe working practices are strictly adhered to across all areas of activity. You will also be tasked with the day-to-day reporting of yard activities, while providing guidance and leadership to yard employees on a daily basis.

Duties/Responsibilities

Supervise Inter Moor yard operations and personnel, ensuring efficient management of equipment, yard activities, and marine sales/hire projects

Oversee mobilisation, demobilisation, and movement of marine equipment, including all shipping, logistics, and customs documentation

Plan and execute maintenance of yard equipment, manage stock and certification records, and handle damage/repair reports

Lead manpower planning and allocation for yard tasks, ensuring all personnel are trained and supervised

Collaborate with project controllers, sales, and operations to manage project costs and external requisitions

Prepare client estimates, technical proposals, and interface with clients, vendors, and contractors

Participate in offshore operations, client meetings, inspections, and training, including possible overseas assignments

Ensure compliance with HSSEQ and company safety standards, and contribute to meeting yearly budget goals for equipment rentals and sales

Requirements

Proficiency in the MS Office suite is required

Familiarity with additional software is an advantage

Experience with MS Project and Auto CAD is desirable

Knowledge of software such as GMOOR, Strand7, ANSYS, AQWA, Optimoor, Inventor, and Orcaflex is a plus

The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is crucial

Strong attention to detail, along with the ability to solve problems independently, is a must

Teamwork skills and the openness to accept constructive feedback are essential

The ability to quickly grasp and adopt new concepts is vital

Offshore experience is preferred but not mandatory

A professional and responsible approach to all communications, both verbal and written, is required
