Brand Insider Pro (Full-Time Retail Ambassador)

Beyond The Vines is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Singapore, with a physical and online retail presence in Singapore and the region.
We’re on the lookout for Full-Time Retail Ambassadors, which are known amongst the crew as Brand Insiders (Pro)! A BTV Brand Insider (Pro) translates, speaks and understands the brand’s language. They play an essential role at the BTV stores, they will be experts of BTV products, providing an informative and hospitable service to our community. A BTV Brand Insider (Pro) should be great at time and people-management with a natural ability of bridging communities. An instinctive empath, a great listener and leader to the crew, we’re looking for someone whose goal is to create a respectful and motivating environment to work at. Apart from having a customer-facing scope, they will master the daily operational know-hows, POS and inventory management.

Pay: From $2,800.00 per month

Responsibilities and duties include:
Front of House
- Work with Retail Managers and other Brand Insiders (Pro/Lite) in providing customers with the best service standards and store experience at Beyond The Vines.
- Provide a seamless shopping experience and ensure that all merchandise is available in the right colours, sizes, and quantities on the sales floor.
- Assist in providing the best customer experience, including speaking to customers, and offering advice on colour, fit and silhouette to best suit their needs.
- Maintain outstanding store condition by working with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure optimal display of merchandise on the sales floor.
- Assist in the maintenance of visual merchandising and accurate display in the store including price tagging of the products.
- Work closely with appointed cleaners and vendors to maintain store cleanliness and condition.
- Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
- Cashiering duties to ensure accurate transactions on POS and credit card terminals.
- Assist in general store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Work closely with Retail Managers in handling administrative matters, including ordering of stationery and other store required supplies.
- Receive, process, tag new stock, replenishments, returns, damages, and transfers, as well as support all stock take exercises to ensure store optimal inventory levels and accuracy.
- Upkeep back of house tidiness and accurate inventory count, ensuring items are stored at the correct location.
- Assist in packing, fulfilling and/or collection of self-collects for online orders.
- Collaborate closely with all other functional team leads particularly in Visual Merchandising, Customer Service, and Operations as required.
- Assist with all store-related matters such as store and product launch events and set-ups as required.
- Keep up to date with in-store promotions and assist with putting up store displays.
- Perform any other duties to ensure the overall success of the business.
- A proactive and dependable support to the crew and community, a BTV Brand Insider (Pro) should be someone that extends their help to anyone that passes the BTV doors! (Bonus points if you have “acts of service” as your love language!)
- As a BTV Brand Insider (Pro), the team counts on you for direction, being able to think on your feet decisively and calmly during crunch times are a huge trait we look out for.
- A people-centred person, we’re looking for someone who can strike up a good conversation with just about anyone, we love a friendly and easy-going disposition.
- You’re a team player as much as you are a leader, we like for hierarchies to remain flat at BTV, although more responsibility is given, we’d love for everyone to shine equally.
- An optimistic and cooperative personality; a lot happens on the shop floors, peak periods get bustling, and a positive mindset is important to keep the team going!
- Love our brand!
- 40 hours per week.
- 5-day work week including at least 1 weekend and/or PH.
- Flexibility of doing either opening or closing shifts.
- Prior retail experience is not required but preferred.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Pay: From $2,800.00 per month
