Business Development (Agri-Inspections sales)

- Cultivate & maintaining relationships with prospective & existing clients to catalyze business development success.
- Focus on driving sales opportunities, gaining market share, and have the ability to find new leads. Perform all related administrative tasks pre and post sales.
Responsibilites
Sales & Marketing (Business development) function
- Look for sale opportunities in inspection, and fumigation. The focus will be in grains/feedstuffs and also other inspections like minerals, metals, iron/ore
- Build and maintain customer relationships and ensure strong communication between current clients.
- Prepare quotations and contracts.
- Conduct research and analysis on various markets to deem whether feasible and worth the investment to develop business within. Participate in trade shows & meetings (where necessary)
Administrative responsibilities
- managing schedules
- preparing pre-shipment certificates
- coordinating with clients in event of any queries and discrepancies on shipping documents providing general administrative support.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience and record of success in the same role for at least 3+ years.
- Experienced working in the commodity is an advantage.
- Having knowledge about products/services related to agriculture commodities and the feed industry is a big plus.
- Possessing intermediate English skills (4 skills). Being able to travel at short notice
SOFT SKILLS
- Experience with tendering and dealing with clients.
- Demonstrate business acumen and a solid customer-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
