We’re looking for Centre Manager to join our passionate team at The Oasis. The position form a crucial part of our organization, building lasting relationships with customers and providing quality care to pets. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for managing all day-to-day duties including the following :


Management:
  • Establishing and maintaining guest services, oversees and is accountable for the operation of a store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory control, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs.
  • Analyze and measure business trends; develops and implements plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
  • Collaborating with Leadership Team during regular meetings regarding any improvements.
  • Working with Recruiting & Training Manager to recruit, interview, and hire team members.
  • Comparison shop and report results; share information with director and make appropriate price adjustments.
  • Review department/store trends and recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives.
Financial management:
  • Create financial budgets and projections to manage costs, and make sure that store sales targets are achieved.
  • Adhering to budgets and financial goals.
  • Managing the P&L to ensure store profitability.
  • Performing accounting duties, such as recording daily cash flow, preparing bank deposits, or generating financial statements.
Staff:
  • Manage all staff, ensuring that their duties are fulfilled according to timeline and targets. Hire and train new staffs.
  • Projecting a positive image within location; leading a team of bathers, groomers, and front desk personnel in maintaining an atmosphere of cooperative teamwork that emphasizes guest service and satisfaction.
  • Developing team service and retail goals and guiding the team in goal achievement.
  • Coordinating schedules to maximize usage and efficiency.
Pet care and maintenance:
  • Manage to set guidelines and thorough follow up on pet health care of pets. Standard maintenance of premises including pet stations. Manage feeding and grooming roster.
  • Checking equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Ensuring brand standards are kept and the store is always looking (and smelling) it’s best.
Procurement:
  • To help in procurement process of pets including sourcing for suppliers, selection of pets and logistics.
  • Inventory products and order new supplies.


Customer service:
  • Maintain and monitor high standards for customer service.
  • Maintaining a membership sales culture within the location.
  • Responding to customer inquiries or complaints with urgency in a timely manner.


AVA and Authority Guidelines:
  • To ensure all protocols, licensing and compliance of animal care are followed according to Government guidelines.
  • Monitoring operations to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, or hygiene standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • First and foremost, a love for all pets!
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and desire to grow!
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role in the pet service industry.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, including motivation and goal-setting
  • Minimum Diploma Education’
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Ability to meet deadlines with good time management skills
  • Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.
