You will be part of the wider team in conceptualising and operationalising Enterprise Risk Management to enable Gov Tech line 1 divisions in an agile manner and to facilitate identification of Tech and Non-Tech risks that impede Gov Tech in achieving its mission and strategic outcomes, cause significant damage to Gov Tech's reputation, and/or severely disrupt Gov Tech’s provision of mission-critical services to WOG and the public. Effective internal /external key stakeholder management is key and strong collaboration and partnership with divisions across SNDGG are critical for this role.

What you will be working on:

Enterprise Risk Management

• Lead the development and operationalisation of enterprise risk management frameworks, policies and guidelines, including critical risk analysis, key risk indicators in alignment to Gov Tech’s risk control framework and libraries
• Work with Line 1 divisions to develop and operationalise risk-control libraries, including cybersecurity, data security, resiliency and third-party management
• Lead the review of Gov Teh’s System Risk management and control self-assurance to identify gaps and areas for improvements
• Partner with Gov Tech’s internal audit in alignment with the Enterprise risk frameworks
• Lead the development and maintenance of the Gov Tech Risk Tech and Data Platform Enterprise Risk Management platform
• Engage Senior Management to develop and maintain Gov Tech’s risk appetite and tolerance.
• Provide timely risk reporting to Gov Tech Management and Board Committees

What we are looking for:

• Graduate Degree preferably in IT, software and computer engineering.
• Min 15 years ICT experience, preferably with at least 8 years in ICT management positions and at least 5 years in ICT governance, compliance or risk management positions.
• Aptitude and experience in first, second or third lines of defence and familiar with enterprise risk management concepts including risk & control self-assessment, policy management preferably in large tech companies
• Certifications in enterprise architecture, risk management such as TOGAF, CRISC with strong interest in Digital Enterprise Architecture, IT risk, data privacy, cyber security, emerging technologies, and related topics will be advantageous
• Strong ability in system thinking, identify problems, root causes and critical thinking to challenge the status quo with confidence and courage to raise/escalate issues in a consultative and professional manner
• Good organizational skills to drive company-wide initiatives, manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise workloads
• Self-motivated and with strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders of all levels
