The appointee will be: 1) Managing and administering both private cloud and Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) computing resources which includes Windows servers, Red Hat Linux servers, Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Azure Active Directory, 2) the IT service manager for ICT services (SP Survey System, Cloud File Transfer), proactively ensuring IM8 compliance, third-party management and overseeing business-as-usual service delivery to end-users (staff and students).
Responsibilities
Administration and maintenance of the following cloud computing resources:

• On-premises cloud hosting services running on VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms and Government Commercial Cloud running on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
• Windows and Linux servers
• Red Hat Linux servers
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Active Directory Federation Service
• Microsoft Azure Active Directory

IT service management covering:

• IM8 policy, process and technical compliance and reporting requirements (primary/lead role)
• Third-party, contract and budget management
• Service-level management
• Capacity, availability and continuity/recovery management
• Incident, problem and change management including communication to end-users
• Information security management
• Service improvement
• Technical and operation support

Lead/coordinate/manage projects covering:

• Stakeholder/steering committee engagement
• Vendor engagement and budgeting
• Procurement/Tendering
• Project scheduling and tracking
• Service and solution design
• Change and transition management including communication to end-users

Requirements

• Preferably more than 2 years of relevant experience as IT service manager handling cloud-based (Saa S) applications
• Relevant qualifications in Computer Engineering
• Candidates who possess experience in Azure and AWS platforms will be an added advantage

Successful applicant will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
