Job Description

CONSULTANT – SINGAPORE
As a Consultant, you will have responsibilities in supporting the delivery of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Consulting and supporting planning/EHS services for projects across a range of sectors within the South East Asia (SEA) and certain North Asia countries, and in supporting business critical proposal and/or marketing efforts.


You will be part of Ramboll’s Compliance, Strategic and Transaction (CST); and Site Solutions Service Lines in the Asia Pacific Region (APAC) and report to the Ramboll South East Asia Principals for CST and Site Solutions. The range of EHS consulting services under Ramboll’s CST and Site Solutions Service Lines includes (but not limited to) environmental, Health & Safety (H&S) site assessments (EHSSA and ESAs); due diligence audits; compliance audits; regulatory advisory services; contamination investigation including Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and delineation; risk assessment and site remediation. These services that is provided out of the Singapore and Malaysia offices, also supports our global key clients and multinational clients throughout SEA and selected North Asia geographies. In this role, you will be supporting the collaboration with CST colleagues in other offices and other Ramboll service lines throughout APAC and globally as a means to ensure best available capability is applied for project delivery and to identify and respond to opportunities that arise from existing client relationships.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities will entail the provision of project execution, project management, and project delivery of environmental-related services for our clients, including:

• Supporting in undertaking Environmental Due Diligence Assessments, Environmental Site Assessments, EHS Compliance Audits/Regulatory Support; and/or soil and groundwater investigations and contamination remediation.
• Project execution which involves data collection and interpretation, site inspections, report preparations, etc.;
• Supporting in project management and project team liaison;
• Assisting with business development activities such as marketing activities and proposal/tender preparation;

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Tertiary degree in a relevant engineering discipline (civil, environmental, chemical) or relevant science discipline (environmental science, geology, chemistry, physics, toxicology or biology) and some qualifying experience; and
• English fluency and excellent oral and written communication skills.
