• Claims Policy application and Claims Handling

• Lead and manage the Singapore Claims team in handling P&I and Defence claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution

• Provide expert guidance and support on complex claims matters, in accordance with UK P&I Club policy

• Develop and implement claims handling procedures and best practices

• Collaborate with global claims team to share knowledge and expertise

• Active participation in Senior Claims Executive policy meetings
  

• Branch Operations and Management

• Oversee the branch's overall operations.

• Working closely to assist underwriters in risk assessment for new business, renewal etc

• Manage and proactively develop business relationships with local stakeholders, including regulators, brokers, and members
  

• Regulatory Compliance

• Knowledge and expertise in insurance regulation for insurers based in Singapore

• Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements, including MAS, ACRA and other relevant laws and regulations

• Represent the branch in regulatory matters and communicate with relevant insurance regulators and local authorities
  

* Requirements:*

• Minimum 10 years of experience in P&I and Defence claims handling at a senior level.

• In-depth knowledge of P&I and Defence claims handling principles, practices, and regulations

• Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving complex claims matters

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to make informed decisions

• Familiarity with local regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks

Salary range – SGD17,500 to SGD20,000 per month.
