- Take ownership of our financial roadmap, ensuring it aligns directly with our business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team to establish ambitious goals, enhance financial performance, and support the company’s sustainable growth.
- Lead comprehensive in-depth financial analysis, track key performance metrics, and provide data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making to enhance performance, profitability, and efficiency across all business units.
- Monitor and optimize cash flow, liquidity, and financial investments, ensuring the company’s financial health is always in peak condition.
- Intelligently mitigate risks while fostering growth, maintaining a balanced approach to risk and reward.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards without allowing bureaucracy to hinder progress.
- Supervise the preparation of accurate financial statements, audits, and insightful management reports that drive actionable insights.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team rooted in data, accountability, innovation, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Enhance our capital structure and funding strategies to facilitate business expansion and operational needs. Cultivate relationships with investors and financial institutions, and leverage technology to create scalable processes.
ARCHETYPES OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Embody a strong sense of personal ownership in work, making long-term, high-quality decisions that contribute to building a profitable and enduring company.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively senior finance experience, demonstrating a successful track record in high-growth organizations with least 5 years of leadership experience in dynamic environments.
- Demonstrated success in managing Group Finance and accounting across Singapore, China, and Malaysia.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have a solid foundation in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and risk management. Experience in capital markets, fundraising, and investor relations is highly advantageous.
- Continually seek innovative ways to improve processes, working more efficiently and effectively.
- Well-versed in modern technologies, digital tools, and platforms that drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency.
