About the Role

As Head of Innovation, NPI Audio, you will lead the Singapore-based NPI Audio team to deliver strategic, innovative technology projects. You will work closely with partners and stakeholders to develop concepts and drive them to fruition, enhancing Dyson's IP portfolio. Your responsibilities include:

• Building a world-class, multi-disciplinary team and supporting them in defining and realising compelling product visions and concepts
  

• Driving innovative problem solving to secure IP for Dyson.
  

• Leading complex, high-value projects within NPI to meet RDD milestones.
  

• Providing technical leadership and mentoring a team.
  

• Managing stakeholder relationships and communicating effectively.
  

• Overseeing project plans, technical risks, and engineering problem resolution.
  

• Collaborating across global teams to enhance engineering practices.
  

• Work collaboratively with partners across the business, in Engineering, the Audio Business Unit, and more.
  

• Management of team budget and spend.
  

• Role-model presentation and communication best practice during project reviews.
  

• Define plans, monitor progress and report on technical risks.
  

• Challenge and develop Dyson engineering practices to continuously improve design quality.
  

• Take an active, hands-on role to ensure that all engineering problems are resolved thoroughly.
  

About You

• Extensive experience in Audio product innovation, design, and development.
  

• A proven track record of delivering complex, high value product concepts and innovation.
  

• Strong leadership skills including the ability to inspire creativity and drive high-performing teams.
  

• Effective communication, and able to influence with a decisive mindset.
  

• Ability to present complex information simply to diverse audiences, with excellent senior stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  

• Commercially savvy with a focus on maximising product and business value.
