We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head of Transfer Agency to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire transfer agency function, ensuring the highest standards of service, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the Transfer Agency team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all transfer agency activities, including investor onboarding, AML reviews, FATCA & CRS reviews and transaction processing, are executed efficiently and accurately.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate operational risks.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance processes, systems, and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Fund Accounting, to ensure seamless service delivery and to support the overall objectives of the business.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. A relevant professional qualification related to Compliance is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in transfer agency, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a fund administration or financial services environment.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of transfer agency operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
