We are offering an exciting internship opportunity within our HSSE & Marine Department eager to gain practical experience in the maritime industry. This internship will provide valuable exposure to various aspects of health, safety, security, and environmental management within a dynamic shipping environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, participate in real-world projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our HSSEQ practices.
- Assist in Safety and Environmental Compliance: Support the HSSE team in ensuring compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of safety and environmental performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Marine Operations Support: Provide support to marine operations activities, including vessel inspections, audits, and surveys, as well as assisting with the implementation of relevant marine regulations and guidelines.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing HSSE performance across the organization.
- Strong academic background with a keen interest in health, safety, security, and environmental management in the maritime industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
