IT - Project Manager

- The role is part of IT team, where this role’s key focus is on managing projects end-to-end from IT delivery perspective. Run SCRUM ceremonies.
- Ensure governance and policy compliance. Identify and manage technology risks and constraints. Work closely with internal stakeholders, technology partners and vendors. Provide regular update to the stakeholders and management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for managing project end-to-end from technology perspective.
- Run SCRUM ceremonies i.e., backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standup, retrospective.
- Work with business stakeholders for backlog grooming and prioritization.
- Lead the team for technology deliverables and clear the impediments.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, technology partners and regional team.
- Maintain and adopt Agile best practices and lifecycles for process workflows.
- Ensure user stories committed in the sprint are delivered on time as per business requirements.
- Responsible for creation, managing and following through project plan if it is waterfall approach. Ensure proper process workflow is followed in accordance with internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field
- PMP/Agile/Scrum Certified
- Strong demonstrable technical project management skills, ideally with agile methodology
- Knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle
- Knowledge of IT Service Management Frameworks and Standards (e.g., CMMI, ITIL)
- Experience in Asset Management/Investment Domain
- Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders across business functions, technology, data and vendors
- A proactive approach and the ability to take initiative, make decisions and deliver results
- Good communicator, facilitator, influencer, and problem solver
- Ability to multitask and prioritize time effectively
