Caterpillar's Product Support Logistics Division (PSLD) currently has an opportunity for a Logistics Engineer in Singapore.
What You Will Do:

• Design and implement successful logistics solutions
  
• Commissioning of various warehouse automation projects such as ASRS, Mini Load, Auto Store and Autonomous Vehicle
  
• Data analysis on storage and productivity statistics
  
• Warehouse storage design: Machinery & equipment design and procurement; workforce & equipment planning; logistics process design; inventory transfer & rearrangement planning; and integrating supply chain knowledge into warehouse design
  
• Using knowledge of local Warehouse Management System (WMS) to integrate this into the overall design of the facility
  
• Support global automation and modernisation warehouse projects
  
• Ensure projects are executed in a timely manner and completion timelines are adhered to
  

What You Have:

• Background in supply chain, logistics, industrial or mechanical engineering
  
• Experience in warehouse storage and handling system design and implementation experience (such as traditional racking, handling equipment, processing area setup)
  
• Proficiency in Excel, Access, Power Point & Auto CAD
  
• Hands-on Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge and SAP-EWM knowledge
  
• Building inclusive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  
• Ability to problem solve, set priorities and deal with uncertainty
  

Additional Info:
International travelling will be on a needs basis.
