Description:
Job Requirements:
- Manage all assigned vessels on day-to-day Marine functions in close cooperation with the fleet team.
- Responsible for delivery on safety, security and environmental performance on assigned vessels.
- Fulfil responsibilities of CSO and Alt DPA for assigned vessels.
- Ensure readiness of assigned ships for PSC/Right ship and customer inspection.
- Ensure effective close out of all non-conformances, observations, deficiencies resulting from Internal or external inspection/audits on assigned vessels.
- Monitor ships as required through audits, inspections or routine visits as required.
- Assist with incident investigation and root cause analysis as required by manager, closing out deficiencies, making recommendations and putting in place preventive measures.
- Assess the operational risks from a marine/navigational perspective for assigned vessels.
- Responsible for briefing and debriefing crew of assigned vessels on Marine matters.
- Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures

Conduct crew training/familiarization
Job Requirements:
- Sailing experience of 2 years as Master, on Ocean going Container/Bulk Carriers trading world wide
- 1-2 years on shore as Marine Superintendent
- Familiar with ISM codes/ISPS/MARPOL/MLC and other maritime regulation
