JOB OVERVIEW
This position is a paid full-time position offered by The Global Citizen Education Group. We are seeking a full-time Maths Curriculum Specialist, based in Singapore. The role primarily involves developing our Singapore Math curriculum, with a focus on Primary school Maths. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our educational programs, focusing on creating impactful lesson materials, training our trainers, and actively engaging in the teaching and learning process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and refine the Singapore Math curriculum and lesson and assessment materials, ensuring they meet TGCEG's educational standards and objectives.
- Take an active role in teaching, demonstrating a passion for education and the ability to engage effectively with students across TGCEG's diverse program offerings.
- Oversee the management of curriculum inventory and assist in staff scheduling, ensuring seamless program operations.
- Provide essential onsite support for educational Math events, workshops, and camps, from coordination, and execution to evaluation, to ensure their success.
- Train and mentor trainers, empowering them with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver TGCEG’s programs with excellence.
- Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of program effectiveness, contributing to reports that help shape future educational strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. (Preferably NIE trained or currently in NIE)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Maths educational program development, teaching, or training.
- Experience in writing textbooks, modules, and any related Math educational learning materials is preferred
- Proficient in English with strong writing and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a knack for managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships.

- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for short work trips.
