DESIGNATION : Nurse Aide
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support and assistance to nursing staff in the delivery of resident care services.
- Closely observe residents through frequent sounds and monitor residents' vital signs and report any abnormality to staff in-charge.
- Perform basic nursing duties such as, nasogastric feeding, bathing and toileting, wound dressing blood glucose monitoring, vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse and temperature.
- Feed, bathe and assist residents who have problems with mobility or are bedridden. Ensure safe transfer to and from bed and wheelchair.
- Assist and supervise the personal hygiene, oral toilet, bathing and grooming, eg. trim nails, changing diapers, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support/Nursing Care/ITC in Healthcare/GCE N Level/Diploma in Nursing
Preferred Candidate Attributes
- Able to work independently and communicate well with team
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in Nursing Home
OTHER INFORMATION
Working Hours
44 working hours per week working, 6 days per week, on shift. (1 days off per week according to roster)
Shift duty according to the nursing roster
