We are currently partnering with a leading Hedge Fund who are launching trading in Singapore in 2025 This role will manage a wide range of responsibilities, including trade flow, reconciliation and break resolution, data warehouse updates, security master maintenance, corporate action processing, and onboarding. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external counterparties to ensure operational processes run smoothly and efficiently. As the first Operations member in the Singapore office, this role must work independently while staying fully engaged with the global team

This role will be responsible for the following:

Daily trading and operations responsibilities include monitoring live trading across various asset classes (equities, futures, FX, fixed income, and credit), handling order execution, limit breaches, compliance alerts, and more.
Monitor live positions and P&L across all asset classes, while maintaining and overseeing the firm’s centralized data warehouse for positions, prices, and P&L.
Process beginning of day positions, corporate actions, security master changes, and data updates for European and American equities, with knowledge of APAC equities for live trading support.
Reconcile positions and P&L for all asset classes, and resolve any breaks across trading operations, ensuring smooth reconciliation processes.
Coordinate with fund administrators, prime brokers, counterparties, and vendors to ensure seamless operations, alongside managing and enhancing automated processes for maximum efficiency.
Engage in global handovers between Singapore, London, and NYC teams, while participating in project work such as onboarding new strategies and conducting data analysis, typically using SQL.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of hedge fund experience working with at least two of the following categories: equities, futures, fixed income, credit, and/or macro strategies
This will be the sole Operations role in Singapore so will need to be able to demonstrate ability to work autonomously
