Long Description

Internship Project Details:
The current methodology employed for data extraction and analysis lacks efficiency and cohesion. Dispersed reports contribute to time inefficiencies as users navigate multiple platforms to access critical data, increasing the risk of errors. For example, Open Order data retrieval relies on SAP, ECTS data retrieval on Sharepoint, and RFA data retrieval on Halliburton’s RFA webpage. Additionally, the anticipated migration to SAP HANA precludes the utilization of macros for data extraction, necessitating the establishment of a robust Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipeline from our database.

Job Duties and Qualifications

Objective:
Our objective is to develop and automate an ETL process, consolidating data retrieval from disparate sources into a single platform. By automating routine tasks, integrating data seamlessly, and optimizing for SAP HANA migration, we aim to empower informed decision-making and drive operational excellence within the organization.

Actions of intern include:

Understand business needs in procurement team.
Deliverables: Develop ETL pipeline, technical documentations, Power BI reports, Automation via Power BI/Python/VBA

Skillset required:

Query: SQL, Power Query
Programming: Python/R, VBA
Visualisation: Power BI/ Tableau
Business Acumen: Supply Chain, Finance
